Biagio Castiglione was known to his family and friends as "Benny". Although I never had the pleasure of meeting my grandfather, we are connected by our love for genealogy and family. His extensive research is what has made this website possible.
Benny spent years gathering and preserving family information, photos, home movies, letters, obituaries…. He didn't sit behind a computer and rely on search engines to compile the data. He communicated directly with family members through letters, phone calls, and sometimes travel.
Benny was passionate about his research, but also about sharing it with the many families that connect us. His legacy will not be shut away in someone's basement gathering dust. It will be proudly displayed in a way he never imagined possible for current and future generations to enjoy. Through this website, I hope to honor the memory of my grandfather Benny and my grandmother, Mary Colomba Eleuteri, known to family and friends as "Collie".
